Who Can Apply?
Those who are in their final year of high school or graduates;
Foreign nationals,
Those who were born as Turkish citizens but have obtained permission to renounce Turkish citizenship from the Ministry of Interior, and those who can prove that they hold the Document Regarding the Exercise of Recognized Rights in accordance with the Turkish Citizenship Law for their non-adult children registered in the document proving their renunciation of Turkish citizenship. (It is noted in Article 7(1) of Law No. 5901 on Turkish Citizenship that 'a child born to a Turkish citizen mother or father within or outside Turkey is a Turkish citizen.' Applicants applying for admission quotas from abroad may find it beneficial to examine the Turkish Citizenship Law.)Those who acquired Turkish citizenship by later acquiring citizenship while having foreign nationality or dual citizens in this situation,
Turkish citizens who were attending secondary education abroad before 01.02.2013, and in the case of Turkish citizens who have completed the last three years of their secondary education (high school) abroad, excluding the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (including those who completed their secondary education (high school) in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education outside the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) from foreign student admission quotas, can apply.
Those who started secondary education abroad after 01.02.2013, can apply to foreign student quotas if they have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in a foreign country, excluding the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (including those who completed their secondary education (high school) in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education outside the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus).
Those who are citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and reside in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and have completed their secondary education (high school) in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, as well as those with GCEAL exam results who registered and received education at colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010 or will have GCE AL exam results, can apply, and their applications will be accepted.
