Mission

As Iğdır University, we determine as our top priority to improve the quality of the education and training period spent by foreign students studying at our university and to support their academic and personal development. We aim to ensure that students, after graduating from our university, carry the knowledge and experience they have gained to their countries and leave them with the positive emotions generated during this process..

In addition, we are committed to creating various support mechanisms to increase students' participation in social life and cultural activities as well as their educational lives. Providing opportunities for foreign students to get to know Turkey's rich cultural structure and integrate into the local society is part of our mission. In addition, we aim to carry out studies that will encourage foreign students to choose Iğdır University in order to increase our university's interaction with different cultures and to promote Turkey's cultural values ​​at the international level.

Finally, we are developing various projects and collaborations to ensure that foreign students who complete their education process become volunteer cultural ambassadors representing our university and Turkey in their own countries after graduation. In this context, one of our most important goals is to guide our students to ensure that they reflect Turkey's social and cultural structures in the best way on international platforms.

Vision

Our vision is to identify the important days that our international students need, organize social, cultural and artistic events on these special days and thus make the university life of our students more meaningful. Through these events, we aim not only to strengthen the social ties of our students, but also to plan events that promote and endear Turkey's rich culture.

In addition, providing professional consultancy services to international students in all fields and contributing to their academic and social integration processes plays an important role in achieving Iğdır University's internationalization goals. In this process, we want to encourage our international students to become leaders of the future by supporting not only their academic success but also their social and cultural adaptation. Thus, our university aims to be a cultural center for international students, beyond just being an educational institution.
